Slowing Down a Bit

I wanted to write a quick post, as I take a break from a huge project that I have taken on at work, to let all my loyal followers know that I'm going to slow down a bit over the next few weeks. I've found that between this new project, which is taking up all my time during the day, and all the activities and things that are going on this month on weekends and evenings, I just can't spend a lot of time blogging.

I am hosting the Afterschool Blog Hop this coming weekend, so you can look forward to that.

I need to write up a review of a product I recently tried: Guayaki Yerba Mate.

And I will eventually need to write up a review of K5learning.com, which we are currently testing out.

I'd like to share some of the things the kids have been doing lately. C started piano lessons, and is now reading the Narnia book series! M has been enjoying time with her friends and showing a lot of creativity. But I just don't know how much I'll get around to sharing. Lately, it's been hard to find the time to sit and write things down, although I am taking pictures for when I finally do share things!

In the meantime: I have lots of work to do. I still have to order my Christmas cards. I have to buy a few more gifts, including stocking stuffers. I have to wrap all the gifts. I have to mail a few gifts to out-of-town family and friends. I have to clean my guest room before my dad arrives in a few weeks. I have to pack for our New Year's trip. And I have a few books I need to read to meet obligations on my book blog. And on top of that, I have to review and evaluate the quality about 500 web pages and pdfs for work before I finish up the year on December 21st. Ack!!

So if it's exceptionally quiet here over the next few weeks, I would appreciate your understanding and hopefully I will get back into the swing of things in 2012!
