I'm a little late, but I wanted to post a quick Happy New Year message. I think I'm finally ready to get back into blogging so hopefully I'll have a couple posts up this week. My first priority is writing a couple reviews I've been asked to do. I'm behind on that! I also plan to participate in the Afterschool Blog Hop on the weekend.
In the meantime, I'll be thinking once again about how I want to use this blog going forward. I have been so focused on work, family and my book blog that I haven't been writing much here lately. I also have found that the kids aren't interested in doing arts and crafts, science projects and other educational types of projects at home lately. They're both in school full time now, and just want to play with their friends and their toys when they are at home. So a lot of the topics I used to write about aren't relevant for us anymore.
I've even toyed with the idea of adding one or two personal posts to My Book Retreat each week, and shutting this blog down. But I'm not sure I want to put the two together. This month is going to be a bit of a trial period, so more than ever, I'd appreciate your comments on the posts I write. Let me know what you like to hear about and what isn't as interesting to you. Hopefully, in the end, I can come up with a vision for this blog that makes me happy and continues to engage those who read it!
I would love for you to keep this blog. Perhaps you can write about favorite games/toys in your house once in a while?
